Item is OOAK and completely wet felted by hand in a natural fashion using basics of soap, water and elbow grease.
Backing for the piece also features natural material of 100% wool.
Fleece itself is a bit course with interesting texture with black and gray coloration.
Dimensions of Sheep Fleece piece without the stick - approximately 28 inches Long and approximately 16 inches Wide and has been secured with natural jute rope with double whip stitched leather ends.
Item is washable after being unstrung from carved stick - Washing instructions will be included with purchase.
This item is not a hide or a sheepskin but is Eco Friendly having used only the shorn fleece from a sheep leaving a happy but hairless sheep to roam the fields until it’s next haircut.
Every attempt has been made to completely rid the fleece of vegetable matter but please note that with this being a natural item and that sheep live in and around hay and in the fields, there may be an errant and stray bits in the fleece.
