Felted Pet Bed with Natural Sheep Fleece

This is a Wet Felted Sheep Fleece Pad that was handmade with the intention of it being used as a Pet Bed. However it can double for Home Decor as a Chair Pad or even a Weaving Bench Pad.

Entirely handcrafted using a wet felt process that involves the use simple use of soap and water and tons of muscle. This was crafted using a natural sheep fleece from a locally sourced from a small farm in New Jersey.

And yes, for all you non-believers, there are farms in New Jersey!

The backing was made with 100% wool making all materials used for this unique piece 100% natural that are both Eco and PETA friendly.

The back of the piece measures 43 inches in Length and approximately 33 inches in Width. The Locks are brown colored and are soft and squishy to the touch. Apologies for the closeup - The locks appear much lighter than they actually are.

Great item for folks looking for a natural alternative to many of the commonly found and suspect merchandise made in countries other that the USA that often use synthetic materials.

This item can easily be washed proper care - Care and maintenance instructions will be included with purchase.

You may also notice a wee bit of what is called vegetable matter that is often found in a natural sheep fleece. This may be a piece of grass or hay and it is because these critters are raised in barns and open fields. So finding a wee piece of grass is also a good way to spot a truly natural product.
